A documentary about the lifestyle of Western Geishas in Rypongi, the red light area of Tokyo. Are the Japanese businessmen who visit them looking for sex, are they really quite content just to pay for drinks and company, and is there any chance, in the end, of falling in love? This is a tender, personal look at a world that simply doesn't exist in the West, forever haunted by memories of Lucy Blackman, who was beheaded by a customer and encased in concrete. Particularly interesting for anyone heading on a gap-year to Japan.
